Chris and I were entralled by Rome. We watched the entire series over a weekend. I thought everything from the sets to costumes, were terrific, you could practically smell the place. I don't know how historically accurate it is. I'd guess pretty accurate, with some aspects fictionalized for drama. And Pullo was alternately the luckiest and unluckiest guy there, but always entertaining.
