Definition of the glossary term Asia Minor

Asia Minor is also known as Anatolia. It is in the eastern region of Turkey, between the Mediterranean and Black Seas. It is the location of many influential cultures and cities from Ancient History, including the Lydians, the Celts, the Persians, the Greeks, and the Romans. The fabled city of Troy was located within the region.
