The Seven Hills of Rome made up the boundaries and the nucleus of Ancient Rome. They were all located east of the Tiber River and most are still in use today. They were:
The Palatine Hill, held to have been the place where Romulus founded the city

The Capitoline Hill
The Quirinal Hill
The Viminal Hill
The Esquiline Hill
